A Safe Place for Sensitive Hearts
Empathic Circle is a quiet, structured support group for people who feel deeply and want to learn how to stay connected to themselves while honoring their emotions.
This is a no-cross-talk witnessing circle. Each person has time to share, and the group listens without interrupting, advising, fixing, analyzing, or rescuing.
We practice emotional honesty, sacred listening, grounding, boundaries, self-awareness, and returning to our own energy.
This circle is not about carrying everyone else.
It is about learning how to care without losing yourself.
Who This Circle Is For
Empathic Circle may be a good fit for you if you:
- Feel emotions deeply.
- Often absorb the mood or energy around you.
- Need a safe place to speak without being fixed.
- Want stronger emotional and energetic boundaries.
- Want to understand yourself with more compassion.
- Are learning how to care without carrying everything.
- Can honor confidentiality, no cross talk, and shared agreements.
What This Circle Is Not
Empathic Circle is not therapy, counseling, crisis support, advice-giving, or a place to spiritually read or interpret others.
It is a structured witnessing circle for emotional awareness, grounding, and personal growth.
- We do not diagnose.
- We do not fix.
- We do not give advice.
- We do not debate.
- We do not interrupt.
- We do not process another person’s share.
- We do not tell others what their experience means.
What to Expect
Each gathering will follow a simple rhythm:
Opening Grounding
We begin by settling into the body, breath, and room.
Circle Agreements
We read the shared agreements together so the space stays safe and clear.
Timed Sharing
Each person receives time to share using a 5-minute hourglass.
No Cross Talk
The group listens without interrupting, advising, comforting, correcting, or responding.
Closing Candle Lesson
A small birthday candle marks one short teaching, word, or reflection for the evening.
Closing Meditation
We end by returning to our own energy and releasing what is not ours to carry.
The Heart of the Circle
The purpose of Empathic Circle is not to make every feeling disappear.
The purpose is to create a safe enough space for feelings to be spoken, witnessed, and honored without anyone needing to rescue, explain, or take over.
My job is to keep the circle safe enough for the feeling to exist.
A Few Words We Practice
Empathic Circle includes simple vocabulary to help sensitive people understand themselves with more clarity.
Discernment
Definition:
The pause between sensing and reacting.
Example:
“I felt tension in the room, but I paused before deciding it was mine.”
I can feel deeply without reacting quickly.
Emotional Absorption
Definition:
Taking in another person’s feelings so deeply that they begin to feel like your own.
Example:
“I walked in feeling calm, but left feeling heavy after being around someone else’s sadness.”
I can care without carrying.
Witnessing
Definition:
Offering presence without fixing, rescuing, advising, or taking over.
Example:
“I listened quietly and trusted that their feelings did not need me to solve them.”
Presence itself can be healing.
Future Teachings
Over time, Empathic Circle will include short teachings and reflections on words such as:
These words are not used to label people.
They are used as lanterns for self-awareness.
Research, Reflection, and Emotional Atmosphere
A future part of this work will include gentle educational writing and reflections about how our emotions, presence, energy, and nervous systems affect the atmosphere around us.
This space will explore the connection between emotional awareness, sensitivity, grounding, and the way we show up in rooms, relationships, families, and communities.
The goal is simple:
To help sensitive people become more aware, more grounded, and more responsible with the energy they bring into the world.
Local Pilot Circle Coming Soon
Empathic Circle is currently being prepared as a small local pilot gathering.
A meeting place and schedule are still being formed. The first circles will be intentionally small so the space can remain grounded, respectful, and safe.

A Note from Brandy
I created Empathic Circle because I know what it feels like to carry emotions that feel too big to hold alone.
This circle is for sensitive and empathic people who want a safe place to speak honestly, be witnessed gently, and learn how to stay connected to themselves.
I am learning too.
This is not a space for perfection. It is a space for practice.
Together, we practice listening without fixing, caring without carrying, and returning to heart space with more honesty, compassion, and courage.
